STI self testing types: STI self-sampling
Other STI self test types: Chlamydia and Gonorrhoea samples are taken by the client using self sampling kits, which include swabs and urine samples. These are returned to staff for testing. HIV and Syphilis are tested for using a rapid on-site test, with results available instantly. This test uses a small sample of blood, from a finger-prick.
